M-Tramp Map Compass

This practical map compass is a useful navigation tool for hiking, orienteering, trekking, outdoor navigation and other outdoor activities. It helps you determine direction while also making it easier to measure distances on a map and plan routes. Thanks to its compact size and low weight, it can be easily carried on hiking trips, outdoor adventures or orienteering events.

The compass features dual graduations, helping with accurate navigation in different situations. A built-in magnifying glass makes it easier to read small map details and markings, which can be particularly useful when working with detailed hiking maps or planning more complex routes.

A particularly useful feature is the three map scale rulers, designed for measuring distances according to different map scales:

• 1:25,000 – suitable for detailed hiking and topographic maps,
• 1:50,000 – commonly used for topographic and general-purpose maps,
• 1:63,360 – used on certain orienteering and topographic maps.

Using the different scale rulers allows you to quickly estimate distances on a map and plan your route more efficiently. This can be especially useful on longer hikes or whenever accurate map navigation is important.

The compass is made from durable plastic, providing good resistance to everyday wear while keeping the overall weight low. Measuring approximately 12.5 × 6 cm and weighing only around 41 g, it takes up very little space and can easily be stored in a backpack, pocket or outdoor gear bag.

An eye-catching coloured lanyard is included, helping keep the compass close at hand and reducing the risk of losing it. This is particularly useful during orienteering or other activities where the compass needs to be taken out and used frequently.

With its compact design, practical map-navigation features and low weight, this compass for hiking and orienteering is a useful choice for beginners learning map navigation as well as experienced outdoor enthusiasts.
